Rotary Fellowship Cricket Cup 2023 – Season 2

Udaipur, 7th and 8th October 2023 – Udaipur’s cricketing arena witnessed two days of exhilarating competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship as the Rotary Means Business Fellowship Udaipur Chapter (RMB Udaipur) hosted the much-awaited Rotary Fellowship Cricket Cup 2023 – Season 2. The event took place at the Dyumani Sports Academy, featuring thrilling cricket matches on a Box Cricket with Mat Turf.

The Dates and Venue: The cricket extravaganza unfolded on the 7th and 8th of October 2023. The League Matches took place on the 7th of October, from 3 PM to 9 PM, followed by High-Tea and Dinner. The Semi Finals and Final were held on the 8th of October, from 8 AM to 1 PM, with Breakfast and Lunch provided.

Organizing Committee and RMB Leadership Team: The event was expertly organized by the diligent efforts of the Organizing Committee, including Rtn. Manish Jain, Rtn. Devendra Choudhary, RMBian Vinod Balchandani, and Rtn. Nishant Sharma. Leading the RMB Udaipur Chapter, Rtn. Karan Garg, Rtn. Puneet Gakhreja and Rtn. Jaismeet Kaur played instrumental roles in ensuring the success of the event. Charter Chair of RMB Udaipur Rtn. Naveen Vaishnav and Board Member Rtn. Ritu Vaishnav also were involved in the successful organizing of the event.

Distinguished Guests: The Rotary Fellowship Cricket Cup 2023 welcomed esteemed guests, including Rtn. Dr. Nirmal Kunawat, District Governor (DG) of RID 3056, Rtn. Deepak Sukhadia, District Secretary-General (DSG) of RID 3056, and Rtn. Naveen Vaishnav, Charter Chairman of RMB Udaipur. Also present were Presidents, Secretaries, and Assistant Governors from all Rotary Clubs in Udaipur.

Participation and Enthusiasm: A total of 12 Rotary Clubs from Udaipur participated in the event, showcasing their cricketing talents. The event attracted over 250 prominent Rotarians from the region, making it a grand celebration of fellowship and sportsmanship.

Special Friendly Match: In a delightful display of camaraderie and unity, a special friendly match unfolded between two remarkable entities: the Rotary Club of Udaipur Meera and the Rotary Club of Udaipur Vasudha, both exemplifying the vibrant spirit of women empowerment in the tournament. These two all-female clubs showcased their prowess on the cricket field, illuminating the audience with their determination and passion. Beyond the boundary lines, this match was a testament to the unwavering spirit and the collaborative strength of these dedicated women, who, through sports, further embodied the essence of Rotary.
